I just wanted to say that, I loved it because I didnt knw what I wanted the whole way through the book. In Twilight, I know exactly what I want to happen. Edward and Bella together forever, Bella a vampire, and so on. But in The Host, I didnt know what I wanted. Like if Wanda should stay in Melanie and go with Jared, or if she should go with Ian, or if she should leave Melanie so that Mel could be with Jared, or....the five million other possibilities there were.

Yay.

I was the exact same way, I could never make up my mind.

Yeah I have to agree. I had no idea at first what I wanted to the happen, which is weird because most of the time I do. lol
But the more I read it...I knew I wanted nothing to happen to Wanda and hoped that some how Wanda and Melody would become 2 separate people cause I loved them both. And when Wanda came up with that plan...it made me really sad! I didn't want Wanda to leave plus have her leave Ian as well!! But in the end it all worked out...so I was happy.

i think that they could have found a better body for her though.

LOL i think the new body will work out much older and the other conciousness could still be in there i'm glad she lied about her age it would have been harder for both of them if she hadn't.

Thank you Jared btw for not allowing Doc to keep his promise to Wanda. Tho i don't believe the knife was completely nessasary. But hey whatever.

k so i read that stephenie has two more host books in the making for the future. but, as much as i loved the host, i dont want there to be any sequels to it, because i thought it ended so perfectly on this note of hope that the story doesnt need to continue.

This book was amazing. I didnt know what to expect for this book. But as i kept reading i realized how much i loved wanda lol, she was just an amazing, well...soul and I liked he alot. When she decided to take herself out of mel so that mel coudl live i was so upset and sad. I didnt want her to die, but of course stephenie made the book end so well. I loved it, it was truely amazing.

I liked Ian personally but i learned to love jared and i even loved Kyle in the end

they way it ended i thought was good for both a sequal or jjust the one but i'm kinda happy there'll be another i want to know about the other souls who've gone native lol and if they end up living in peace among the souls (doubt that but hey)

i dont want a sequel because that means more bad stuff is going to happen and i dont want it to, i want it to be happy and hopeful like the end was.

yeah i liked jared but i liked him more when it was him, kel, and jamie, and then not so much after wanda was in mel's body. he was just too abusive, but at the same time angry guys are kinda hot. but im weird. i thought ian was just such a sweetheart. and kyle ended up ok at the end.

but girls lets face it.... uncle jeb is the sexiest one of them all! hahaha jk.

The book was good, i think it ended will. if there is no sequal i understand it ended well. but if there is a sequal then i have no problem with that Very Happy
